Margaret Kearns was honoured at the Limerick Service to Sports Award 2017. There were 28 LWA members, at three tables of support for Margaret.
Margaret joined Limerick Walking Association in 1992 shortly after it was founded. From the start she was involved in all of the Club’s activities and became a walks leader, event organiser and helped with the running of the many social activities of the Club. As the Tours and Functions Officer Margaret was responsible for a variety of activities, including club functions, dinner dances, quiz nights, cabaret shows and card nights.
Club members were present at the Limerick Service to Sports Award evening Friday 13th April 2018.
